In the movie that has been remade from the Broadway hit that was remade from the original movie (you've got to love Mel Brooks) Leo Bloom (Matthew Broderick), and Max Bialystock (Nathan Lane) join forces to produce a Broadway flop. When once successful producer Bialystock's latest show goes belly up, Bloom, a timid accountant, arrives to audit his books for him. In the process of this meeting Bloom's long time desire to become a Broadway producer surfaces, as well as an idea to create a Broadway flop to the tune of millions in their pocket. When Bialystock finally convinces Bloom to go in on the scheme they must search for the sure flop, and they think that they have found it in 'Springtime for Hitler', a musical written by an ex-Nazi played by Will Ferrell. After finding the sure flop they stock it with all the sure flop players, all to assure that it will go bust and the money will be their's. Unfortunately for these producers things don't go quite as planned.
